FACE LIFT

One of the most visible signs of aging is excess, sagging skin around the lower face and neck, i.e. “jowls”. Facelifts can rejuvenate your appearance by removing the excess skin and tightening the skin around your face, making you look much more youthful – for people in their 40s, up to 10 years younger, and if you’re in your 50s, up to 15-20 years younger!

There are many different types of facelifts, ranging from procedures performed on the brows, the mid-face, the neck to a “full” facelift. A frequent recommendation is the SMAS (Superficial Musculo Aponeurotic System) facelift, which involves tightening the deeper tissues of the face. The “mini” facelift is another option that’s growing in popularity, due to it being a simpler and less invasive procedure.

The best way to decide on the right facelift procedure for you is to send pictures of your face to our doctors, who will reply with a free online consultation. You can do so right now by clicking here.

Facelift surgery

A facelift procedure will generally take around 3 hours under general anesthesia. You’ll need to stay 2 nights at the hospital, following which you’ll be free to enjoy your holiday in Thailand for the rest of your stay. However, you’ll be a little swollen and bruised after your surgery, so we advise you to take it easy and not exert yourself too much. If you’re a smoker, you’ll need to abstain from smoking at least 14 days before surgery and another 14 days afterwards.
